Meet Cheryl

Hi, I’m Cheryl — and I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve found your way to this site, there’s a good chance you’re looking for answers. Maybe you’re living with a chronic condition or ongoing health challenges, and you’re trying to figure out what natural options are actually safe for you. You may feel overwhelmed by conflicting information, cautious about making the wrong choice, or tired of being told “don’t do anything outside of your medical plan” without being given real, practical support.

I understand that place — because I’ve been there too.

Nurse Practitioner (24 yrs)  |  Healthcare (40+ yrs). |  Military (24 yrs)

My background: a lifetime in healthcare and service

I’m a nursing professional with over 40 years of experience in healthcare, including 24 years as a Nurse Practitioner. I’ve worked across many areas of health in both military and medical communities, and I’ve had the privilege of caring for people from all walks of life — different ages, cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives.
I also served 24 years in the military, where I gained extensive leadership experience and learned what it means to stay calm, steady, and solution-focused in complex situations.
Those two careers shaped how I see wellness: not as a one-size-fits-all checklist, but as something deeply personal — and something that requires both wisdom and discernment.

When “pushing through” stopped working

For many years, I was the person who kept going.
A lifetime of strenuous work in nursing and the military eventually caught up to me. I found myself struggling with my own health and feeling uncertain about what natural options I could use to support my wellness goals. I wasn’t really living — I was surviving my days.
I wanted to feel better, but I didn’t want to do anything unsafe. I didn’t want hype or extreme approaches. And I didn’t want another flood of confusing information.
So I started looking for answers with a different kind of commitment: the kind that comes from lived experience, professional training, and a deep desire to improve quality of life — not just “manage symptoms.”

What changed everything: learning where to look, and what to trust

Over time, I discovered where to look for reliable information and how to incorporate natural wellness options into real life.
I began adopting a lifestyle approach that made a meaningful difference:
  • I removed toxins and unhealthy substances from my home and personal care products.
  • I learned about natural supplements and supportive tools.
  • I explored a variety of natural approaches that helped me stay well day-to-day — and supported me when I needed extra help.
This wasn’t about rejecting conventional healthcare. It was about becoming informed and intentional — and learning how natural strategies can fit responsibly alongside medical care.
That knowledge changed how I live, and it changed what I knew was possible.

A personal journey, shaped by real challenges

My passion for this work is not theoretical — it’s personal.
I manage chronic disease myself using both medical and natural strategies, and I’ve also navigated cancer twice. During those seasons, I learned what it looks like to walk through serious health challenges while combining supportive natural options alongside oncology medicine — always with care, wisdom, and respect for the complexity of the body.
I’ve also experienced profound loss and grief through multiple family departures, and I understand how emotional strain impacts the body, the nervous system, and overall wellness. Life changes us — and wellness has to meet us where we really are.

How I support you

Today, I help people who want to incorporate natural options into their day-to-day life — in a way that feels grounded, safe, and realistic.
My approach is empowering, educational, professional, and deeply supportive. I guide you through the information so it makes sense to you — and so you can make choices with confidence instead of fear.
I believe wellness should feel like:
  • clarity (not confusion),
  • support (not shame),
  • and steady progress (not overwhelm).
Over the years, patients have told me things like:
“You explain information so I can understand.”
“You listen.”
“You give me space and empower me.”
“You have wisdom and experience.”
Those words mean everything to me — because that’s exactly how I want you to feel when you work with me: heard, supported, and confident in your next steps.

Why Young Living is part of my wellness lifestyle

I’ve been using Young Living products for over 8 years, and I truly appreciate the science and research that goes into what they create. I also love the community — it’s a place where education, encouragement, and real support come together. You meet like-minded people, you learn, and you grow in confidence as you go.
These are products I know, trust, and use in my own life — and when it’s appropriate, I’m happy to help you understand how they may fit into a natural lifestyle approach.

My values

Everything I do is rooted in integrity, honesty, respect, authenticity, and caring. I approach this work with truth and kindness — because people deserve to be supported, not pressured.
I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had in life, and I believe I’ve been guided to share what I’ve learned for the benefit of others. Why gain so much knowledge and hard-earned wisdom if it can’t be used to help someone else move forward?

If you’re ready, I’d love to help

If you’re looking for natural wellness support and you want someone who understands both the medical and personal side of the journey, I’d be honored to walk with you.
If that’s you, get in touch — I’d love to help.
